
Automating Trivia Content Production for So Yummy by First Media

So Yummy, a flagship brand under First Media, is celebrated for its vibrant, engaging food content—boasting over 63 million followers and hundreds of millions of monthly video views. To further innovate its content offering, So Yummy launched a trivia channel, challenging the norms of digital media production.
The goal was to produce over 70 episodes, each 7 minutes long, by automating every stage of content creation. Instead of relying on traditional manual production methods, the challenge was to design a system that transformed ordinary trivia data into engaging video content, all while maintaining a consistent, high-quality output.
By preproducing creative elements—such as text overlays, color schemes, animations, and even AI‑synthesized voice narration—the entire process was automated. Once So Yummy supplied the trivia data, our streamlined workflow and render machine took over, producing episodes at scale with minimal manual intervention.
The Approach
To overcome the production challenges, I developed a fully automated pipeline that integrated preproduced creative elements with data-driven triggers. The solution was built around three core components:
Scalable Content Production
